January highlights -we went to the icecastles in Midway.
Seeing Martin (Michele's sister), who was in town.
Had a cousins party.
Work trip to St George that Rich joined me on, so we went to Las Vegas for the weekend. It was a great trip, Rich's first time to Vegas. Enjoyed seeing Blue Man Group, Jabawockees, the coca cola store taste of soda's from around the world, and seeing the fun hotels.Our only regret was not being able to spend more time with Bob and Hiroko. We did get to see my childhood friend Ben and his family, who just moved to Vegas 3 weeks before the trip.
In February we celebrated our 1 year anniversary with a yummy dinner at Tuscany followed by scrumptious dessert at the Bakery (Gourmandise). We went to Colorado to visit my aunt Lynda and uncle Steve with Nicole and Casey a perfectly delightful trip, where we were spoiled by our gracious hosts. As a bonus Grandma was there.
March, was Michele's birthday.
Michele had a girls camp retreat with youth leaders.
Watched alot of basketball, it was fun to see BYU do well.
Went to the Real game, saw David Beckham and Jimmer Freddette-Michele almost hyperventilatted as we walked past Jimmer. Rich said hey Jimmer and he gave a nod. We are almost best friends;)
Got to see Deb (Rich's sister) when she came for a business meeting.
Rich got called to be the executive secretary in our ward...he has been busy-but he really enjoys getting to know ward members better.
April-Boo (Rich's car) died, so we bought our new car-Quimbi, a 2011 Nissan Sentra.
we went to Moab for a trip to see Canyonlands (a bucket list item for Michele).
Jared (Rich's brother) visited when he came to town for busines was a great joy. It was good to have dinner with him and catch up.
Went to the Spiral Jetty-on the Salt Lake...glad we caught it before the snow melts and covers it for another 30 years.
